After 18 months of operations, American Airlines made its last flight between Santiago de Chile and New York on Tuesday, January 3rd. The company operated three times a week on Boeing 777-200(ER) aircraft with 273 seats.
American Airlines suspended flights on this route because it did not meet performance expectations. The airline will continue to operate in Chile, connecting the capital with Dallas and Miami, two of American’s most important hubs.
