If this service materializes, it would be the only non-stop connection between the state of Nuevo Leon and South America. Viva Aerobus offers international services to the United States and Cuba from General Mariano Escobedo International Airport (MTY).

Viva Aerobus has a 10.6% share of the market and in January 2023 it will offer 5,952 weekly seats between the two countries.

General Mariano Escobedo International Airport (MTY) offers international service to the following destinations: Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Havana (HAV), Houston (IAH), Las Vegas (LAS), Los Angeles (LAX), Chicago O’ Hare (ORD), San Antonio (SAT), Atlanta (ATL), Detroit (DTW), Madrid (MAD), Panama – Tocumen (PTY), Miami (MIA), Phoenix (PHX), McAllen (MFE), Santo Domingo (SDQ) and Austin (AUS).
