Venezuela: Estelar started its flights between Porlamar and Maracaibo

On December 15 Estelar started operations between Porlamar (PMV) and Maracaibo (MAR). This will be the company’s only route to the capital of the state of Zulia during the high season and according to the company’s website the service is scheduled until February 26, 2023.

With this new operation, connectivity between the state of Zulia and Margarita Island is reinforced, offering passengers more options for their year-end vacations. Between Maracaibo (MAR) and Porlamar (PMV) there will be an offer of 1,096 weekly seats in services operated by Estelar and Conviasa.

Flight ES 8336 was operated by a Boeing 737-200 registered with registration number YV2792, which took off from Santiago Mariño International Airport (PMV) at approximately 13:00 local time and landed at La Chinita International Airport (MAR) at 15:18.

  • Maracaibo – Porlamar Flight ES 8335 Tue 13:45 – PMV 15:30.
Thursday

Porlamar – Maracaibo Flight ES 8336 PMV 13:00 – TUE 14:45.
Maracaibo – Porlamar Flight ES 8335 TUE 15:45 – PMV 17:30.

Promotional fares are available from USD 170 round trip. The ticket includes a 23 kg suitcase and 8 kg carry-on baggage.

According to the company’s reservation system, it has scheduled other services from Porlamar (PMV), starting December 18 it will offer four weekly flights to Caracas (CCS) and will offer special flights to Canaima (CAJ) on December 17, 24 and 31.

With the start of Estelar’s operations, six airlines now offer domestic flights at La Chinita International Airport (MAR) through five destinations.
