On November 7 Norse Atlantic inaugurated operations between Berlin – Brandenburg (BER) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL), the company’s second service to Florida and the second U.S. route operated from the German capital.
Flight NO 621, was operated on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner registered with the registration number LN-FNC and christened «Everglades», which took off from Brandenburg Airport (BER) at 16:38 local time and landed at Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) at 20:12, after nine hours and 33 minutes.

Fort Lauderdale (FLL) is the third long-haul destination inaugurated by Norse Atlantic this year from Berlin (BER), during the summer the company started non-stop services to New York (JFK) and Los Angeles (LAX), this was deprogrammed.
Flight schedule
- Berlin – Fort Lauderdale Flight NO 621 BER 16:25 – FLL 21:00 Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
- Fort Lauderdale – Berlin Flight NO 622 FLL 23:00 – BER 14:40+1 Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
The route will be operated on Boeing 787-9 aircraft with a capacity of 338 passengers in two classes (56 Premium Economy/282 Economy) and promotional fares are available starting at USD 238 each way. This service will be available during the northern winter season.
The last non-stop connection between the German capital and Florida was on September 23, 2017 with a daily service by the defunct Air Berlin between Berlin – Tegel (TXL) and Miami (MIA). According to data obtained through Eurostats this route moved 75,299 passengers in 2017 in 331 operations.

According to data compiled by Aviacionline through Cirium, Norse Atlantic will offer 3,380 weekly seats between Europe and Fort Lauderdale (FLL). The carrier currently connects Oslo (OSL) and Berlin (BER) to Florida’s third largest airport.
