Chile: LATAM began flights to Antofagasta with Boeing 787 Dreamliners

LATAM began flights between Santiago de Chile and Antofagasta on December 2nd with Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with 247 and 313 seats. The Chilean company operates between eight and ten daily services on the aforementioned route with Airbus A320-200 and Airbus A321-200, in addition to the Dreamliners.

At press time, Boeing 787s will operate to Antofagasta during December. From January onwards, only Airbus A320s and Airbus A321s are expected to operate to Antofagasta.

Other information

  • Antofagasta is LATAM’s third destination within Chile to be operated on the Boeing 787, after Punta Arenas and Rapa Nui.
