On November 24 Sunclass Airlines resumed its non-stop flights between Stockholm – Arlanda (ARN) and Aruba (AUA): this operation will be available during the 2022/2023 northern winter season. The leisure airline will provide the only air service between Scandinavia and the Netherlands Antilles.
Flight DK 2509 was operated on an Airbus A330 registered OY-VKF, which took off from Arlanda Airport (ARN) at 09:58 local time and landed at Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA) at 15:45, after 10 hours and 47 minutes.
Flight Itinerary
- Stockholm/Arlanda – Aruba Flight DK 2508 ARN 09:00 – AUA 15:30 one flight every 15 days on Thursdays.
- Aruba – Stockholm/Arlanda Flight DK 4209 AUA 17:30 – ARN 08:12+1 one flight every 15 days on Thursdays.
The route will be operated on Airbus A330-200 aircraft with a seating capacity of 322 (49 Premium Class/273 Economy) and promotional fares are available from USD 404 one way.
The Danish leisure airline is currently offering non-stop long-haul flights to Phuket, Thailand (HKT) and Aruba (AUA) from its base in Stockholm (ARN). Sunclass also provides services from several cities in Denmark and Sweden to multiple popular leisure destinations in the Canary Islands, Cape Verde, among others.
The Swedish capital becomes the third European destination for Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA), complementing Amsterdam (AMS) and Brussels (BRU) which are served through TUI Airways. By March 26, 2023, British Airways is expected to arrive with a service from London – Gatwick (LGW) operated via Antigua (ANU).
