Sunrise Airways announced that it will expand its flights between Port-au-Prince (PAP) and Cuba with more frequencies to Havana (HAV) and Santiago de Cuba (SCU) and the return of its operations to Camagüey (CMW) and Holguín (HOG).

Currently, Sunrise Airways operates two weekly flights between Cuba and Haiti; Mondays to Santiago de Cuba and Tuesdays to Havana. The company will add another four weekly services starting November 2.

The new operations will be operated on 220-passenger Airbus A321s available under a wet-leasing agreement with SkyCana, allowing it to offer 2,640 seats per week, an increase of 66% compared to October.

Shopping tourism in Haiti by Cubans has revolutionized the market, as they buy goods of all kinds, both consumables and goods for personal use.
