Lamborghini strengthens its position at Bologna airport

Automobili Lamborghini and Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport renewed their partnership, upgrading the showroom and using new Lamborghini vehicles for airport operations.

The Lamborghini showroom space inside the passenger terminal will be converted into a boutique. Located on the ground floor of the airport, the area has undergone a complete refurbishment and now features, among other things, a Lamborghini vehicle on permanent display. Passengers will be able to purchase accessories, as well as book tours of the factory and the company’s museum. In addition, the Follow Me Car (which accompanies aircraft to and from the runway in low visibility operations) sports a new yellow and black paint job.

Stephan Winkelmann, president, and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini commented on his company’s partnership with the airport, which dates back to 2013 and has now been extended to 2025. «Our presence in this terminal has a double value as it strengthens the relationship with the region and is also an important calling card for the brand,» said the executive.

For his part, Nazareno Ventola, CEO of Bologna Airport, added that «we are very pleased to strengthen our partnership with Lamborghini. We are launching a new service for our most demanding customers that will allow them to enjoy the Lamborghini experience as soon as they step off the plane, something unique in the world.»

The most exclusive new feature is the Urus VIP Shuttle service. The service is available by pre-booking through the airport’s VIP program, called YouFirst. Passengers are met by a Lamborghini Urus and airport staff, both on arrival and departure, and transported to and from the terminal by the Italian SUV.
