Frontier Airlines for the 2022/2023 winter boreal season continues to expand its route network to sun and beach destinations, as the low-cost carrier adds four new nonstop services from Florida and Arizona beginning in November. The company continues to offer travelers more travel options for their winter vacations at affordable prices.
Arizona
Frontier continues to expand its Phoenix – Sky Harbor (PHX) presence with the introduction of two new nonstop services beginning November 5, 2022, additional to its recent announcement of 10 new routes:
Phoenix (PHX) – Detroit (DTW).
- Flight F9 2930 PHX 13:30 – DTW 19:20
- Flight F9 2931 DTW 07:02 – PHX 09:32
The route will operate daily flights and introductory fares are available starting at $89 each way.
Phoenix (PHX) – Cincinnati (CVG)
- Flight F9 1730 PHX 14:50 – CVG 21:17
- Flight F9 1731 CVG 10:06 – PHX 00:26+1
This nonstop service will offer four flights a week and promotional fares are available starting at $99 each way.

This, along with the airline’s upcoming new crew base, demonstrates Frontier’s strong commitment to bringing more travel options and high-quality jobs to the Phoenix community» said PHX Director of Aviation Services Chad Makovsky.
Florida
Frontier continues to connect by increasing its connectivity in Florida beginning November 16 will begin nonstop service between St. Louis (STL) and Tampa (TPA), this is the seventh route offered by the company from STL, the schedule is as follows:
St. Louis (STL) – Tampa (TPA)
- Flight F9 2490 STL 20:48 – TPA 23:56
- Flight F9 2491 TPA 06:00 – STL 07:38
The route will operate four flights a week and fares are available from USD 29 one way.
Starting November 5, the low-cost carrier expands its offerings from Cleveland (CLE) with a fifth non-stop service from Florida to Fort Lauderdale (FLL), complementing its operations from Tampa (TPA), Orlando (MCO), Miami (MIA) and Fort Myers (RSW), the schedule is as follows:
Cleveland (CLE) – Fort Lauderdale (FLL)
- Flight F9 2443 CLE 12:40 – FLL 15:35
- Flight F9 2442 FLL 08:45 – CLE 11:38
This nonstop service will have four flights a week and introductory fares are available starting at USD 39 each way.
«The winter season is one of the most popular times for Midwest consumers to vacation in Florida, and this new service will provide an affordable and convenient flight option thanks to Frontier’s ‘Low Fares Done Right,'» said Daniel Shurz, vice president of commercial for Frontier Airlines.
All these new routes will be operated on Airbus A320 aircraft seating between 180 and 186 passengers in a single configuration.
