Last Wednesday, Caribbean Airlines opened its renovated Caribbean Club Lounge at Piarco International Airport (POS), located in the north of the island of Trinidad, which serves Port of Spain, the capital of Trinidad and Tobago.

With the reopening of the facility, Business Class passengers and members of Caribbean Club, the airline’s benefits club, can now access the lounge at the Trinidadian airline’s main base of operations once again. The renovated space has a total area of 3.062 square feet (about 285 square metres) and can accommodate up to eighty customers at a time.

The lounge’s amenities include a self-service bar with breakfast, lunch and dinner options, a variety of aperitifs, free connectivity, meeting spaces and electronic devices charging terminals. In addition, a children’s playroom was opened for the first time.

The company said it will offer a 20% discount on Caribbean Club membership for sign-ups and renewals between 21 September and 31 October 2022. Members will have access to a complimentary pass and will also have the option to purchase day passes.

«In 2022 we took a decision to actively reset the expectations of our customers and a major part of this was taking action on the feedback provided through our passengers surveys», commented Garvin Medera, CEO of Caribbean Airlines. «The decision to redesign the Caribbean Club Lounge is a tangible reflection of our commitment to enhance the overall travel experience», he explained.
