Frontier Airlines to launch flights between Denver and West Palm Beach

Frontier Airlines schedules a new domestic route between Denver (DEN) and West Palm Beach (PBI) with three weekly flights beginning Nov. 6, the low-cost carrier will be the only carrier to offer nonstop service between the two cities.

«This expansion is further evidence of our continued commitment to both Denver and West Palm Beach,» said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president commercial for Frontier Airlines.

«We see demand for our well-crafted low fares in both markets, and we are honored to be the only airline to offer this exciting new service. With the addition of this new route, Frontier will fly to seven Florida cities from Denver, the most flights we have ever provided,» added Shurz.

According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium for the 2022/2023 winter season, Frontier will offer between Denver (DEN) and Florida 16,920 seats per week on 86 aircraft operations, making it the third largest carrier in this market behind only Southwest and United.

The low-cost carrier’s destination network between the High – Mile City and the Sunshine State includes Jacksonville (JAX), Orlando (MCO), Miami (MIA), Pensacola (PNS), Fort Myers (RSW), Tampa (TPA) and soon West Palm Beach (PBI).

«West Palm Beach is a new destination for DEN and is a great addition to our strong national network,» said DEN CEO Phil Washington.

«We are grateful for Frontier’s continued investment in DEN and are excited to offer passengers another option for travel to South Florida,» Washington added.

Flight Itinerary

  • Denver – West Palm Beach Flight F9 438 DEN 06:05 – PBI 12:03 Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
  • West Palm Beach – Denver Flight F9 439 PBI 21:19 – DEN 23:59 Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

The route will be operated on Airbus A320 aircraft with a seating capacity of 186 seats in configuration and promotional fares are available from USD 69 one way.

From West Palm Beach (PBI), Frontier will also offer winter nonstop service from Philadelphia (PHL) operating daily and twice-daily service to Trenton (TTN) and Long Island/Islip (ISP), plus 7,626 seats per week from the Miami metropolitan area’s third major airport.
