Dominik Asam to step down as Airbus CFO

-

Domink Asam will leave his position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Airbus beginning of March 2023 to take up the same position at German IT multinational SAP.

The executive had joined Airbus in April 2019 and had responsibility for guiding the group’s finances during the worst crisis in the history of the aerospace industry in the wake of the pandemic.

«I am grateful for each day I have had the honour of working for Airbus so far. It has been a privilege to be part of the Airbus management team under the leadership of Guillaume Faury,» Dominik Asam said in a statement.

«Airbus is now in a better competitive position and I have great faith in my colleagues’ ability to continue writing this unique success story» and «I am looking forward to supporting this flagship European company for the remainder of my tenure by working with the management to ensure a smooth transition with the next Airbus CFO,» he added.
