Aerolíneas Argentinas to inaugurate four new routes in Argentina

Aerolíneas Argentinas confirmed that it will inaugurate/restart four interprovincial routes between October and December. Flights will be operated by Boeing 737-700, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 737 MAX 8 and Embraer 190.

The cities with new services will be Bariloche, El Calafate, Mar del Plata, Trelew, Tucumán and Ushuaia.

New Aerolíneas Argentinas interprovincial routes

*interprovincial routes are flights without passing through Buenos Aires.

  • Trelew (REL) – Ushuaia (USH): 2 weekly flights as from October 4th.
  • Trelew (REL) – El Calafate (FTE): 2 weekly flights as from October 5th.
  • Mar del Plata (MDQ) – Tucumán (TUC): 2 weekly flights as from October 5th.
  • Bariloche (BRC) – El Calafate (FTE): 3 weekly flights as from December 2nd.
New increases
  • Buenos Aires (AEP) – Catamarca (CTC): from 6 to 8 weekly flights since August 8th.
  • Buenos Aires (AEP) – La Rioja (IRJ): from 6 to 8 weekly flights since August 8th.
  • Ushuaia (USH) – El Calafate (FTE): from 7 to 14 weekly flights as of October 3rd.

«These flights comply with two basic premises that we have set out from the beginning: to federalize the territory with a network of routes that allows travel throughout the country without passing through Buenos Aires and to generate new tourist circuits that are attractive to foreign tourists who visit us,» stated Pablo Ceriani, president of Aerolineas Argentinas.
