Viva increases flights in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico

-

The Colombian low-cost airline Viva will increase its flight frequency to Argentina and Brazil, based on the positive results of its first month of operations.

As of October, Viva will increase to five weekly operations on the Medellín – Buenos Aires and Bogotá – Buenos Aires routes and to four weekly operations on the Medellín – São Paulo route. In addition, the Medellin – Cancun route, which the airline operated with eight flights a week, will increase to 10 as of September of this year.

«It has been less than a month since we connected Colombia to Argentina and Brazil at ‘Super Low Cost’ and we can already see how well received these routes have been by travelers. For this reason, we have increased our weekly frequencies to these destinations
weekly frequencies to these destinations to allow more passengers to travel to cities throughout the region, paying only for what they need,» said Pablo Madriñán, Commercial Vice President of Grupo Viva.

«In addition, as part of our commitment to connect the country with Mexico, we will have, starting in September, 10 weekly flights to Cancun, Mexico from our HUB Medellin, which,
will also strengthen connections with our destinations in the south. At Viva we remain
committed to our expansion strategy to add more destinations to our Viva route network,» he added.
