Venezuelan government authorizes scheduled flights to Qatar and Algeria

Om July 9 the Instituto Nacional de Aeronáutica Civil (INAC) added Qatar and Algeria to the countries authorized for regular passenger and cargo flights in Venezuela, pursuant to NOTAM N° C0811/22 and A0361/22. These permissions are valid until August 9, when they will be updated.

Currently the nations that are authorized for international flights are: Turkey, Russia, Mexico, Bolivia, Panama, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Spain, Portugal, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Iran and Brazil. Venezuelan government entities continue to implement the necessary measures to combat COVID-19.

Recently, Conviasa announced non-stop services between Caracas (CCS) and Algiers (ALG) as of July 27, this will be the first destinations of the state airline in Africa, also by November 18 the company will fly between the Venezuelan capital and Doha (DOH) with a stopover in Algeria, this route will offer users more travel options for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
