#TBT: South African Airways flights between Johannesburg, Rio de Janeiro and New York in 1972

-

In February 1969, South African Airways inaugurated flights between Johannesburg and New York with a stopover in Rio de Janeiro. The services were able to carry passengers on all legs.

The African company carried out these operations in Boeing 707-300s, which had two seatting classes (First and Economy).
