[Photo gallery] LV-KEJ, Aerolíneas Argentinas brand new Boeing 737 MAX

On July 28, at the facilities of the Argentine Aircraft Factory (FAdeA), Aerolineas Argentinas’ new Boeing 737-8 could be seen after having received the company’s livery.

The aircraft was initially destined for Belarusian airline Belavia, but following the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the sanctions that such action prompted, it was transferred by the lessor to the Argentine operator.

The aircraft has just 27 flight hours and 13 cycles, while its CFM LEAP-1B engines have 31 hours and 18 landings.

Our team was present at the facility and we were able to take a close look at the aircraft, which still retains the Belavia colors, making it a true rarity.

Then, the 737 MAX moved to the runway of the Escuela de Aviación Militar and from there took off bound to Ezeiza, where work will continue to change the interior of the aircraft before it enters commercial service. As a farewell, the LV-KEJ performed a low pass that amazed those who came to see it.

We are infinitely grateful to FAdeA personnel for the opportunity and their usual cordiality, and to Aerolíneas Argentinas the technical group for their outstanding predisposition.
