Dublin and Seattle are once again linked by Aer Lingus

On Thursday July 7, Aer Lingus resumed its non-stop services between Dublin (DUB) and Seattle (SEA) with five weekly flights, the company’s third destination on the west coast of the United States. The airline’s last operation on this route was in March 2020.

Flight EI 53 was operated on an Airbus A330 registered with the registration EI – GAJ, the aircraft took off from Dublin International Airport (DUB) at 16:05 local time and landed at Tacoma Airport (SEA) at 17:55.

Data compiled by Aviacionline through the Central Statistics Office of Ireland (CSO) indicates that in 2019 91,091 passengers traveled between the Irish capital and Seattle, the third largest market between Ireland and the east coast of the United States.

Flight Itinerary

  • Dublin – Seattle Flight EI 53 DUB 16:05 – SEA 17:40 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
  • Seattle – Dublin Flight EI 52 SEA 19:25 – SEA 12:45+1 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The flights will be operated in Airbus A330-300 with a capacity of 313 seats in two classes (30 Business Class/282 Economy), in addition the airline will have an offer of 3,130 seats per week on this route.

Data obtained by Aviacionline through the Department of Transportation (DOT) indicates that in 2019 between Dublin (DUB) and the United States 3,379,619 passengers were mobilized, it was the fifth largest European market in the U.S. with Aer Lingus being the largest operator in this market.

Aer Lingus will have a capacity between Ireland and the U.S. of 55,648 seats per week, for an U.S. network composed by 11 destinations:

Dublin (DUB)
  • Boston (BOS) twice daily.
  • Newark (EWR) daily flights.
  • Washington Dulles (IAD) twice daily.
  • New York (JFK) twice daily.
  • Los Angeles (LAX) daily flights.
  • Orlando (MCO) five times a week.
  • Chicago O’ Hare (ORD) 12 flights per week.
  • Philadelphia (PHL) daily flights.
  • Seattle (SEA) 5 times a week.
  • San Francisco (SFO) daily flights.
  • Miami (MIA) starts on October 21, 2022.
Shannon (SNN)
  • Boston (BOS) daily flights.
  • New York (JFK) daily flights.
