Aerolíneas Argentinas began flights to Punta Cana with Boeing 737 MAX 8

On Monday (4) Aerolineas Argentinas began flights between Buenos Aires and Punta Cana on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. The planes are configured with 170 seats in two seating classes.

The Argentine company returns to operate to the Dominican city with the MAX 8s after three and a half years. Between October 2020 and June 3rd, 2022, operations were carried out on the 265-seat Airbus A330-200s.

In addition to changing the aircraft, Aerolíneas Argentinas increased its flight frequency to Punta Cana on June 4th. The carrier will fly once a day, when previously there were three weekly services.

Aerolíneas Argentinas will offer 1,190 seats per week between Buenos Aires and Punta Cana and vice versa with the new operating schedule (795 with the Airbus A330).

On the other hand, the airline inaugurated on Monday its regular operations between Buenos Aires and Havana. Flights will be with a stopover in Punta Cana, three times a week.

The Punta Cana – Havana – Punta Cana route is not available for sale.
