Sky High reschedules flights to Venezuela

Sky High Aviation Services has modified its operations between the Dominican Republic and Venezuela, the airline plans to start its flights between both nations on July 1st, for the same date it has scheduled to start its flights to Miami (MIA) with five weekly flights.

This year the company received authorization from the Civil Aviation Board (JAC) to fly to four destinations in Venezuelan territory, including: Caracas (CCS), Valencia (VLN), Maracaibo (MAR) and Porlamar (PMV), where they will have connections to the company’s Caribbean network and to the United States.

The Dominican Republic is one of the main destinations for Venezuelan travelers for connections to North America and Europe, as well as one of the countries authorized with regular flights to Venezuela.

Sky High also took delivery of its first Embraer E190 to increase the capacity of its operations and this tentative aircraft will make its first commercial flight between Santo Domingo (SDQ) and Caracas (CCS).

Sky High Aviation Services’ Schedule in Venezuela

Santo Domingo (SDQ) – Caracas (CCS)

Starts July 1 with three weekly flights (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) and will be operated by Embraer E190 aircraft.

  • Flight DO710 SDQ 14:00 – CCS 15:30
  • Flight DO711 CCS 11:00 – SDQ 12:30
Santo Domingo (SDQ) – Valencia (VLN)

It starts on July 2 with two flights per week (Thursday and Saturday) and will be operated by Embraer ERJ 145 aircraft.

  • Flight DO720 SDQ 14:00 – VLN 15:30
  • Flight DO721 VLN 17:00 – SDQ 18:30
Santo Domingo (SDQ) – Porlamar (PMV)

Starting July 2 with two flights per week (Thursday and Saturday) and will be operated by Embraer ERJ 145 aircraft.

  • Flight DO740 SDQ 14:00 – VLN 15:30
  • Flight DO741 VLN 17:00 – SDQ 18:30

This service will be the only non-stop service to Margarita Island.

Santo Domingo (SDQ) – Maracaibo (MAR)

Starts on July 3 with two flights per week (Wednesdays and Sundays) and will be operated by Embraer ERJ 145 aircraft.

  • Flight DO730 SDQ 08:00 – MAR 09:30
  • Flight DO731 Tue 17:00 – SDQ 18:30

With these new services, Sky High will operate for the first time to South America as part of its international expansion for the coming years.
