U.S. low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines announced developments in its network from Cincinnati⁄Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), Ohio, and Stewart International Airport (SWF), 97 kilometers north of New York City.
The company will resume services from Cincinnati to Raleigh-Durham (RDU) and Philadelphia (PHL). «With these two additional routes, we now offer nonstop flights to a total of eleven destinations from Cincinnati, along with connecting options to a wide variety of cities across our network», said Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s Senior Vice President of Commercial.
He also noted the increase in demand for air travel observed in recent months and the good projections for the upcoming summer season.
In this context of recovery, the airline inaugurated two new routes from Stewart International Airport, in the state of New York, to Atlanta (ATL) and Raleigh-Durham (RDU). Will Evans, the airline’s Senior Manager of Sales and Distribution, said that «both visitors and residents of the southern Hudson Valley now have more options for convenience and affordability with Frontier’s ultra-low fares and friendly service».
Services from Cincinnati (PVG)
- Raleigh-Durham (RDU): three weekly frequencies. Started May 26th.
- Philadelphia (PHL): four weekly frequencies. Started May 27th.
Services from Stewart (SWF)
- Atlanta (ATL): three frequencies weekly. Started May 26th.
- Raleigh-Durham (RDU): two frequencies weekly. Started May 26th.
