Conviasa resumes flights between Caracas and Tehran

On Sunday, June 19th at 3:12 p.m. local time, the first Conviasa flight departed Caracas for Tehran, Iran. Operations were resumed following several months without service.

The Venezuelan state-owned airline will operate flights between Caracas and Tehran every 15 days, as well as various international routes. In this occasion, services will be performed on Airbus A340-300 and Airbus A340-600 with 255 and 308 passengers respectively.

Venezuela’s capital will be the only destination in America with non-stop flights to and from Tehran.
