BA CityFlyer inaugurates flights between London City and Barcelona

This Sunday (19) BA CityFlyer, a British Airways subsidiary, inaugurated its seasonal flights between London City (LCY) and Barcelona. The company will have six weekly operations in Embraer 190s, with capacity for 98 passengers.

London (LCY) becomes the fifth airport in the British capital with non-stop scheduled services to Barcelona. British Airways, easyJet, Ryanair and Vueling operate to and from Gatwick, Heathrow, Luton and Stansted.

As these are summer operations, British will perform its last flight between London City and Barcelona on September 4th.

According to information obtained by Aviacionline, the carrier plans to resume flights between London City and Barcelona during the European winter season (from December to March).
