Aerolíneas Argentinas made a special flight to Los Angeles

-

This Tuesday (7) at 11:34 p.m. a special Aerolineas Argentinas flight took off from Buenos Aires to Los Angeles. The operation was carried out in Airbus A330-202, registration LV-GIF, of 6 years old.

Aerolineas Argentinas returned to Los Angeles after a 20-year absence. At the time, the carrier performed non-stop flights to and from Buenos Aires with Airbus A340-200s, which lasted a short time.

Until the late 1990s the airline operated to Los Angeles on Boeing 747-200s. Lima and/or Mexico City used to be the stopovers.

The reason for Aerolíneas Argentinas’ special flight is due to the Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles. The aircraft will remain in Los Angeles until June 10th, when it will fly back to Buenos Aires.
