Tropic Air will operate up to 8 daily flights between Belize City Municipal Airport and San Pedro

To meet the increased demand during the impending summer season, Tropic Air will increase the frequency of its flights between Belize City Municipal Airport (TZA) and San Pedro (SPR), a major tourist destination located south of Ambergris Caye.

As of June 1st, the airline will operate up to 8 daily flights with services starting at 7:00 AM from San Pedro and the last return from Belize City Municipal at 5:30 PM.

Except for Saturdays and Sundays, flights will depart San Pedro at 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. In the reverse direction they will take off at 7:30 AM, 8:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM, 3:30 PM, 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM.

On weekends the services that will operate are the 8:00 AM, 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM from San Pedro; and the 8:30 AM, 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM from the capital. Their website shows fares starting at USD 50 each way.

This offer from the Belize City Municipal Airport and San Pedro is complemented by Tropic Air’s offer from the Philip SW Goldson International Airport, with about twelve daily flights each way, providing foreign tourists with immediate connections with flights of other airlines.

Tropic Air’s fleet consists of one Beechcraft 1900D, fourteen Cessna Caravan 208B and two Cessna 182T.

Its domestic network reaches Punta Gorda, Placencia, Dangriga, San Ignacio, Cayo Caulker and San Pedro, in addition to both airports in Belize City. Internationally, it operates to Roatan (Honduras) and San Salvador, and to Guatemala City under a codeshare agreement with TAG.
