LATAM to resume flights between Lima and Porto Alegre

-

As of July 2nd, LATAM Airlines will resume regular operations between Lima, Peru (LIM) and Porto Alegre (POA), the most important city in southern Brazil.

This route will complement LATAM’s existing offer between Lima and Brazil, with 12 weekly flights from Sao Paulo/Guarulhos and 3 weekly flights from Rio de Janeiro/Galeao.

The airline had begun flying between Lima and Porto Alegre in December 2019, but the outbreak of the pandemic forced the route to be canceled in April 2020, notes our partner media in Brazil, Aeroin.

«We remain attentive to all opportunities to expand our operation in Brazil and abroad. Despite the less accelerated recovery of the international market, the resumption of the Porto Alegre-Lima flight is a clear example of our commitment to offer more and better travel options and connectivity to customers in various regions,» commented Aline Mafra, LATAM Brazil Sales and Marketing Director.
