LATAM to increase flights to Auckland and Sydney

Following a 24-month suspension, LATAM resumed flights between Santiago de Chile, Auckland and Sydney on March 29th, as announced. The Chilean company started with three weekly services on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, configured for 313 passengers.

Latin America resumed its non-stop connection with Oceania after two years. Prior to COVID-19, in addition to LATAM, Air New Zealand (Buenos Aires) and Qantas (Santiago de Chile) were operating.

Starting July 2nd, LATAM will increase its flights to Auckland and Sydney from the Chilean capital. Services will continue to be operated with the same aircraft.

According to the Cirium aeronautical intelligence platform, LATAM will fly five times a week between Santiago de Chile, Auckland and Sydney.

Auckland and Sydney are LATAM’s current destinations in Oceania. Melbourne maintains cancelled operations with no tentative restart date.
