As Azul announced last Monday, this Wednesday, May 18, Latam also announces the return date of its flight service in Brazil.
The company announces that it will resume onboard service on domestic flights in Brazil on June 1, returning to offer free of charge to all passengers on flights within the country, options of sweet and savory snacks and beverages (water, coffee, juices, and soft drinks).
This resumption will be possible after Anvisa (Brazilian National Health Surveillance Agency) announced the release of the service, suspended on domestic flights for more than two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In Brazil, LATAM plans to operate 542 daily domestic flights in June.
As reported by our partner site Aeroin, the in-flight service meal options will be offered according to the flight schedule (morning, afternoon, and evening) and class (Premium Economy or Economy).
«We were very much looking forward to the resumption of in-flight service. It is very important to offer this experience to our customers again after more than two years of suspension,» explains Aline Mafra, LATAM Brazil Sales and Marketing Director.
It is worth remembering that, despite the release of the in-flight service, the use of face masks during flights is still mandatory as a protective measure, and their removal is only permitted for feeding and hydration.
