Delta resumes flights between New York and Copenhagen

This Friday (27) at 12:01 p.m. local time the first Delta Air Lines flight of the summer season from New York landed in Copenhagen. Operations had been suspended since September 2019, due to the Coronavirus pandemic and its restrictions.

Delta will fly once daily to the Danish capital from New York (JFK) on Boeing 767-300(ER) aircraft. With this schedule, the airline will offer 1,582 seats per week per leg.

New York and Copenhagen resumed service after a 31-month cancellation. The last operations had been by Norwegian Air Shuttle in October 2019.
