At 9:53 a.m. local time on May 6th, Avelo Airlines‘ first flight from New Haven arrived at the Savannah airport. The U.S. company will have four weekly operations between the two cities on Boeing 737-700s, with capacity for 149 passengers.
Savannah will have a non-stop connection to and from New Haven for the first time.
According to the Cirium aeronautical intelligence platform, Avelo plans to increase to five services per week starting in June.
