SKY inaugurates its flights between Lima and Bogotá

This Saturday (30) at 8:40 a.m. local time, SKY Airline Peru’s inaugural flight from Lima landed at Bogota Airport. The Peruvian low cost will have three weekly operations in Airbus A320neo, with capacity for 186 passengers.

Bogota becomes SKY’s fifth international destination in Perú, after Buenos Aires, Cancún, Punta Cana and Santiago de Chile. As announced, service between Lima and Miami will commence on June 7th, with five flights per week.

According to the reservation system, SKY Airline Perú plans to increase to one daily frequency starting in July.

Bogotá (BOG)

  • Lima (LIM): Avianca, LATAM, SKY, Viva and Wingo

Cartagena (CTG)

  • Lima (LIM): LATAM

Medellín (MDE)

  • Lima (LIM): Viva

SKY’s main competitors on the Lima – Bogotá route will be Avianca, LATAM, Viva and Wingo. Considering the five companies, there will be more than eight daily frequencies between the capitals of Perú and Colombia.
