Condor resumes flights to Phoenix

Effective May 21, 2022, Condor resumes nonstop operations between Frankfurt (FRA) and Phoenix, AZ. After a two-year suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the German leisure airline will offer twice-weekly flights between May and September.

The German leisure carrier began operating at Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) in May 2018, experienced strong passenger demand in the same start-up year and 2019 prior to the onset of the pandemic.

«Condor’s return to Phoenix continues to be an important return to travel and we look forward to welcoming more international visitors,» said Kate Gallego, mayor of Phoenix.

«Direct, nonstop flights to Frankfurt offer our community more access and easy connections to Europe. This flight adds a vital boost to our economy, as international flights to Phoenix generate approximately $3 billion each year», added Gallego.
