Air Arabia Maroc announced that it will add four links between Spain and Morocco, including a landing in Seville (SVQ), for the northern summer season.

Since the reopening of the Moroccan border on February 7, several local and international airlines have launched their campaigns to boost international travel next summer.

Morocco’s low-cost airline has planned to increase its operations in Europe, especially in Spain, on the following links:

  • Nador (NDR) – Madrid (MAD); from June 23 to September 8, with a weekly flight (Thursday and Sunday).
  • Oujda (OUD) – Barcelona (BCN); from June 23 to September 18, with two weekly flights (Friday and Sunday).
  • Casablanca (CMN) – Seville (SVQ); from June 20 to September 19, with two weekly flights (Monday and Thursday).
  • Tangier (TNG) – Seville (SVQ); from June 22 to September 17, with three weekly flights (Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays).

The company has nine Airbus A320ceo with a capacity for 174 passengers, so its offer in Spain will be 2,784 seats per week.

Increased frequencies on other Spanish routes

Air Arabia Maroc will not only add new links, but according to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, the company will increase by 195% the supply of seats between Morocco and Spain compared to the same period in 2019.

For the northern summer, the company will offer the following frequencies in Spain:

The increase in its operations positions it as the second-largest carrier between the two countries, with 21.5% of the seat offer.
