Lufthansa inaugurates its flights between Munich and Rio de Janeiro

-

At 7:21 p.m. local time on Sunday the 27th, Lufthansa’s inaugural flight from Munich landed at Rio de Janeiro Airport. The company will have five weekly services on 293-seat Airbus A350-900s.

Lufthansa begins operations to and from Munich after suspending flights to Frankfurt on March 25th. Previously, Frankfurt and the Brazilian city were connected with Boeing 747-400s three times a week.

Rio de Janeiro joins Lufthansa’s Munich hub to boost the company’s international connectivity in the German city.
