The airline operated at Akron-Canton from 2015 to 2017. At the time, Allegiant officials said most of its passengers were from the Cleveland area and preferred the convenience of Hopkins, forcing it to move its operations to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
«Starting today, Allegiant Air offers nonstop flights to Northeast Ohio’s favorite vacation destinations,» said Ren Camacho, president, and CEO of Akron-Canton Airport. «Our partnership is off to an excellent start and we are excited about Allegiant’s future at CAK.
