Virgin Galactic tickets are now available

-

Tickets for Virgin Galactic, the group’s suborbital spaceflight company, went on sale today 16 February.

Bookings include access to the Future Astronauts community, which will allow access to experiences, events, and preparation activities. «At Virgin Galactic, we believe space is transformative,» said company CEO Michael Colglazier. «We plan to reach 1,000 customers by the end of this year.»

Flights launch from Spaceport America in New Mexico. During preparation activities, the future astronauts will reside with their guests in customized accommodation.

The space flight itself is a 90-minute journey. SpaceShipTwo, the company’s spacecraft, allows several minutes of weightlessness and breathtaking views of the Earth from its 17 windows.
