«The resumption of service by Qantas demonstrates a significant commitment to the Dallas / Fort Worth region. Our customers will benefit from the convenience it provides,» said John Ackerman, executive vice president of global strategy and development at DFW Airport.

«Dallas / Fort Worth has always been a key route for Qantas and the service will play an important role in attracting U.S. visitors to Australia for the first time in two years. It will complement Qantas’ existing flights to Los Angeles. It will provide business and leisure travelers with a network of connecting flights for travel within the United States,» said Andrew David, CEO of Qantas International.

Recently the Australian government announced the opening of borders for foreign tourists from February 21, this has led to a significant increase in Qantas bookings on its flights between Australia and the United States.

Qantas’ Dallas / Fort Worth (DFW) route, in partnership with American Airlines, offers travelers connections to more than 100 destinations in the United States, and passengers connecting from Sydney (SYD) can connect to more than 30 destinations in Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific.
