Spirit Airlines announced that it will add Frederick Douglass Greater International Airport, which serves Rochester (ROC) in New York, to its network of destinations.

The carrier will fly from that city to Orlando (MCO), Florida, and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, beginning June 24, 2022.

«We look forward to welcoming Rochester-area residents aboard our bright yellow aircraft and offering them More Go to exciting vacation destinations,» said John Kirby, vice president of network planning for Spirit Airlines.

Kirby stated that the waterfront attractions of these two cities will attract Rochester residents for the upcoming summer season.
