Scandinavian Airlines SAS expands its North American route network with a new destination in Canada: Toronto (YYZ), which will be served from Copenhagen (CPH) and Stockholm (ARN). With this addition, during the summer season the carrier will offer service to seven cities in the United States and Canada.
«We are pleased to announce direct flights from Scandinavia to Toronto, taking the next step in strengthening our North American network. The new SAS routes will make travel between Scandinavia and Canada easy and convenient for our travelers. Flights depart Scandinavia at noon and Toronto in the afternoon, allowing good connections at both ends to other destinations,» said Karl Sandlund, EVP Commercial of SAS.
Routes to Toronto (YYZ) will commence operation in June 2022, subject to SAS obtaining the required governmental approval. Ticket sales will soon be available for this route, the company’s first new destination in the last four years.
Services to Toronto (YYZ) will be operated by the innovative Airbus A321LR, SAS’ new long-haul narrowbody, which features a 3-class configuration with 157 seats: 22 SAS Business, 12 SAS Plus (Premium Economy) and 123 SAS Go (Economy Class).
