La Compagnie requested permission to fly to Brazil

-

Another European airline should soon be landing on Brazilian territory. After the recent flight approvals of European Cargo (UK) and Icelandair (Iceland), which were first-hand reported by AEROIN, our partner media in Brazil, it is now the turn of the French airline La Compagnie.

Like the other airlines mentioned, La Compagnie has also submitted a request to the Brazilian authorities to operate non-scheduled flights to the country. The dates of the flights, destinations or purpose are not yet known. Requests for flights can only be made once the qualification process has been completed.

La Compagnie is a boutique airline that has a different appeal to traditional airlines, operating with two Airbus A321neo aircraft in full business class configuration and therefore offering a superior experience to passengers who can afford the service. Because of these characteristics, the company operates seasonally and on high passenger density routes, with departures from Paris to Nice, London, New York, Milan and Tel Aviv, among others.

Their aircraft are configured for only 76 passengers, instead of the approximately 220 to 240 used by traditional airlines on the A321neo.
