Cayman Airways returns to Denver on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft

Cayman Airways returns to the western United States, beginning February 26, resuming service between Grand Cayman (GCM) and Denver (DEN) on a weekly frequency and will be operated on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

The airline’s route to Denver (DEN) is offered in partnership with the Cayman Islands Ministry of Tourism and Transportation and the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism (DOT), and will be a seasonal service until August 6.

Flight Itinerary

From February 26 to March 12
  • Grand Cayman – Denver Flight KX440 GCM 09:00 – DEN 11:30
  • Denver – Grand Cayman Flight KX441 DEN 12:50 – GCM 19:20
From February 26th to March 12th
  • Grand Cayman – Denver Flight KX440 GCM 09:00 – DEN 12:30
  • Denver – Grand Cayman Flight KX441 DEN 13:50 – GCM 19:20

The flights will be available on Saturdays. They will be operated by Boeing 737 MAX 8s are configured with 16 seats in Business Class and 144 in Economy Class.

On March 2, 2019, Cayman Airways began operations in Denver (DEN), due to the new generation Boeing 737 offering the range to operate long haul flights, the airline has also been interested in adding other destinations to the West Coast of the United States such as Los Angeles (LAX) or San Francisco (SFO).

Cayman Airways’ current network to the U.S.

  •  New York (JFK) three times a week.
  • Miami (MIA) nine times weekly.
  • Tampa (TPA) four times weekly.

All routes are operated on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
