Azul to operate year-round flights to Punta del Este

-

At the end of 2021, Azul Linhas Aéreas inaugurated its seasonal flights to Punta del Este from Porto Alegre and Campinas, two of the airline’s main airports in Brazil. Operations began with Embraer 195 and Embraer E-2 aircraft.

When services were launched, Campinas was confirmed until January 31st, while Porto Alegre had a tentative schedule for all of 2022. Finally, Azul will continue flights between Porto Alegre and Punta del Este with a frequency of two operations per week in Embraer 195s, configured with 118 seats.

For the first time, the airline will fly to the Uruguayan city on a regular basis throughout the year. In addition, Azul will be the only Brazilian carrier to operate to Punta del Este, since GOL and LATAM have suspended their services.
