Aerolíneas Argentinas to operate year-round flights between Mendoza and Santiago de Chile

-

On September 25th, 2021, Aerolíneas Argentinas inaugurated its flights between Mendoza and Santiago de Chile. Operations are currently carried out in Embraer 190s, with a capacity for 96 passengers.

The company’s services between the two cities were the first international flights from Argentina excluding Buenos Aires. Due to COVID, all regional and international operations were centralized in the country’s capital.

Aerolíneas Argentinas currently has one weekly frequency on the Mendoza – Santiago de Chile route and vice versa. Initially, according to the booking system and the Cirium platform, operations were scheduled until last December, and then planned to perform their last services in March. As a result of successful occupancies, the airline will fly during the whole of 2022 between Mendoza and Santiago.

For now, Aerolineas Argentinas will continue to fly every Saturday with Embraer 190s.
