Latam starts operations between Neiva and Bogota

-

Latam Colombia has announced the start of operations between Neiva and Bogota with 7 weekly frequencies in Airbus 320 and 319 aircraft with capacity for 174 and 144 passengers, respectively.

The airline will start offering fares from COP 142,800 per leg and will provide around 2,200 seats per week on this route, with which Latam completes 34 routes to 17 domestic destinations in Colombia.

In this regard, Camilo Prieto, Latam’s Sales Manager, commented «Huila is undoubtedly one of the most important economic hubs in the southwest of the country and a key destination to boost tourism growth in the region thanks to its great cultural contribution. With this new route connecting Bogota and Neiva with a daily frequency, we seek to energize the local market, offering more competitive fares that allow us to balance the market along with variable itineraries that seek to meet the needs of our passengers».

Throughout 2021, Latam Colombia mobilized 6,174,318 passengers, equivalent to 91% of the passengers transported in 2019. Similarly, 47,822 domestic and international flights were operated and 13 new domestic routes were inaugurated to complete a total of 33 domestic routes in 16 destinations.
