JetSMART introduces its new commercial policy «SMARTICKET»

-

JetSMART launched its new commercial policy SMARTICKET in order to increase flexibility and benefits to all its users such as changing, transferring, or canceling tickets.

In this way, those who buy tickets for domestic flights in Chile, as well as international flights to and from Chile, will be granted the freedom to decide what to do in case they cannot fly on the original date of their tickets.

Víctor Mejía, JetSMART’s Commercial Manager, said «At JetSMART we have a clear objective: to ensure that our passengers can travel by air at affordable prices and with the greatest possible flexibility, and that is what will be achieved with the SMARTICKET, allowing our customers to have greater flexibility to travel, so that if they have any unforeseen event or emergency, they can attend to it either by changing the day of the flight, giving it to another person, or even recovering it in the form of a giftcard».

The first change option allows you to change the date and time of a ticket at no cost, you will only have to pay the fare difference if any.

The second option allows the modification of the name of the ticket to be transferred to another person up to 2 times a year free of charge. And the last alternative allows the cancellation of the ticket in case the person is unable to travel, from 48 hours to 10 days after the purchase, depending on the case.

Finally, the airline presented the option of returning the total amount of a ticket, which cannot be used by the customer, through a gift card format, which can be used during the following 12 months to purchase a new ticket.
