GOL Linhas Aéreas to modify its schedule to Buenos Aires

-

Last December 19th, GOL Linhas Aéreas resumed flights to Buenos Aires after a 21-month suspension. The airline’s last regular operations to the Argentine capital had been in March 2020, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.

At the time, GOL connected Buenos Aires with Brasilia, Florianopolis, Fortaleza, João Pessoa, Maceió, Natal, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and São Paulo.

In addition, Cordoba, Mendoza and Rosario had flights from Rio de Janeiro (Cordoba and Rosario) and São Paulo (Mendoza). As of press time, there is no official information regarding the return of these operations (tentative date June/July).

The Brazilian carrier will reduce its flight frequency between Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires starting February 2nd. According to the reservation system, GOL will operate three times a week between the two cities on Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

Florianopolis and São Paulo will continue with the same number of weekly flights as in January (two and seven, respectively).
