Air Canada resumes flights to Santiago de Chile

At 11:40 a. m. local time on Monday, January 10th, the first regular Air Canada flight from Toronto landed in Santiago de Chile. The company had suspended operations to Chile since March 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Air Canada will have three weekly services between Toronto and the Chilean capital in Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, configured for 298 passengers. With this schedule, the carrier will offer 894 seats per week on each leg.

Air Canada will not fly the route between Santiago de Chile and Buenos Aires. Operations to the Argentine capital are currently carried out via Sao Paulo with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
