Emirates reopens its lounges in more than 20 airports

Following the pace of demand recovery and the restoration of its network, Emirates is advancing to bring back its premium passenger lounge offerings around the world, estimating that by February 2022 there will be more than 120 lounges.

Within Europe, Emirates’ lounges operating in Germany, specifically at Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Dusseldorf, in addition to lounges in Milan and Rome, have already reopened for passengers so they can enjoy their premium facilities, while the Paris lounge is scheduled to open later this month.

In the United States, travelers on Emirates flights can now access the premium lounge experience at Los Angeles International Airport, Boston Logan International Airport, as well as New York JFK, and the Emirates lounge in San Francisco will resume services in February 2022.

By the end of December, Emirates lounges at a number of UK airports will have reopened for customers to immerse themselves in the premium pre-flight experience, including London Heathrow, Birmingham, and Manchester, while lounges at London Gatwick and Glasgow will welcome customers in January 2022.

Emirates, which has resumed operations to more than 90% of its pre-pandemic network, currently flies to more than 120 destinations worldwide through its hub in Dubai. Customers traveling in First and Business Class will be able to enhance their travel experience with Emirates’ lounge service at more than 20 airports across its network, including popular destinations in Europe, Africa, the United States, and Asia.

Emirates has also reopened an additional lounge in Cairo and will soon follow suit in Colombo and Bangkok. At Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3, it has already opened five of its lounges.

Emirates First Class passengers and Platinum Skywards members can enjoy complimentary access for the first passenger and up to three additional guests, including one adult and two children under 17 years of age in the airline’s lounge facilities.
