Azul inaugurates its flights between Porto Alegre and Punta del Este

This Monday (20) Azul Linhas Aéreas‘ inaugural flight for the 2021/22 season arrived at Punta del Este International Airport from Porto Alegre. The Brazilian company will have, until late January, between four and five weekly operations in Embraer 195s, with a capacity for 118 passengers.

For the first time, services between Porto Alegre and Punta del Este will be regular throughout the year. Effective February 3rd, Azul will fly twice a week to the Uruguayan city with the same aircraft.

Uruguay is the second Latin American market with Azul Linhas Aéreas operations. In addition, the airline has international flights to the United States and Portugal from Campinas.

Flights to Buenos Aires from Belo Horizonte and Campinas, which were operated prior to COVID-19, continue with no tentative resumption date.
