On January 3rd, 2022, at 02:00 a. m. local time, the first Aerolíneas Argentinas flight to Punta Cana will take off from Ezeiza Airport. Operations will be carried out on Airbus A330-200s, with a capacity for 265 passengers in two classes.
The airline will resume its services to the Dominican city after eight months of suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Aerolíneas Argentinas will have three flights per week between Buenos Aires and Punta Cana during the 2021/22 summer season. With this schedule, the company will offer 795 weekly seats on each leg.
As before the pandemic, Aerolíneas Argentinas will be the only carrier to have non-stop operations to Punta Cana from the Argentine capital.
